Fever 101

Well, yesterday afternoon, right after my last post, some little bacteria decided to get a hold of my body and have a party. When my fever hit 101, my parents took me to urgent care so Prince Charming could put Princess M to bed. Dr at Urgent Care wanted the surgeons to look at me to make sure I didn't have an abcess or something. I ended up in the hospital with lots of blood being taken and IV antibiotics. It looks like it might just be a skin infection on the right side, so they sent me home with drugs. It made for a very late night/early morning. Despite the unpleasantness of it all, once I had my IV, they were able to give me the good drugs again, so I had a real nice respite from the pain.

It was soooo much more fun to see downtown at 2 am when I was younger and shutting down the bars.
