Originally I was just going to have the sentinal node biopsy on the left side. But my Dr said the "tumor board" at Kaiser wants me to have it on the right side as well. After seeing my MRI, they felt strongly that the right side "suspicious" area is cancer, so they want to look at those lymph nodes too. It's not a big deal, just one more incision to deal with. I like that more then one Dr has seen my file. It's nice to know various surgeons and oncologists have discussed my case.
I am ready mostly. I can't seem to string 2 thoughts together today, but that is O.K. Prince Charming would like me to put up my feet and rest today, so my body isn't too tired for the trauma tomorrow. See how easy he makes it to love him madly? My sister has her cleaning crew coming in today, so my house will be squeaky clean. She is pretty darn easy to love too. Not to mention my parents are taking Princess M for the night, so we have a low key evening. Love all around me. And my Fresh Prince called me today. I'm so glad I could talk to him before.
Check in tomorrow will be at 6:15 am for the SNB injections. Surgery at 8:15. Prince Charming will update the blog as he is able. Stay tuned......
