Still no date for surgery. Funny thing is, the wait is worse than the surgery. I can't stand not having a date. The coordinator for my breasts DID call the surgeons office to get the ball rolling, but it takes a few days. Apparently scheduling 4 surgeons, a hospital OR, an anesthesiologist (totally spelled that wrong I'm sure), a surgical tech, etc... takes more then a day or two. I am hoping by next week I will have a date. Then I will feel more in control and start making plans.
Today I had an endometrial ablation. Easy as could be. I was told the stereotactic biopsy wouldn't hurt, and it was one of the most painful experiences in my life (including 5 major ortho surgeries and 2 natural childbirths). So I was nervous when I was told this wouldn't hurt more then a few cramps. Well, my Dr. was right. It is just crampy. And now I should recover from the anemia and never have it again. I really look forward to not feeling tired, sleepy and generally fatigued constantly.
Princess M starts kindergarten on Tuesday. And MAYBE I'll get a surgery date. That pretty much sums up next week.
