I have 40 days to get things done before October 4th. The day is set in stone now. Pre-op on September 22, at which time they will make sure I'm not anemic anymore. Oh, and sign the consent forms. I do have to sign the form that states over and over that I am aware of a chance of death. Cheeky little legal folks like these forms.
I will be spending the time cleaning house. Seriously, I had no idea how much dog hair I had hiding behind my couches. Now I'm on the hunt to obliterate all of it. Of course, when I'm done with that, it will still leave a whole month of time to get through. Maybe now is the time to start one of those 18 thousand piece jigsaw puzzles. It's not like we NEED the kitchen table for the next few months. Or I could spend the time waiting in line at the new Ikea for meatballs. That should eat up a good 2 weeks there.
