Round 2

Chemo went just fine yesterday. I really like my oncologist. We talked just a little bit about when the Taxol starts, and what they will do to try and prevent the same reaction I had to Taxotere. And what they will try if I'm allergic to Taxol as well. My first dose of that will be January 10th, and I'll need a few angels around me that day. It's all a little scary to think about, so I won't really put much thought in to that until AFTER the holidays. That's the only way I can do it.

I had some pretty good nausea last night which suprised me. It's really good we have the medications these days to fight through it. There doesn't seem to be a side effect that they can't give me something for. I mean, there are side effects to those meds too, but anything is better then being sick. I can take blurry eyes and insomnia.

Just waiting now for the chemo fog to set in. I know it's coming. It's better the second time around, knowing what to expect. Now I know I can get through this.
