Just got the pathology results from the parts removal. All parts were in good working order and non cancerous. Whew. I'm so glad I got them out before they could start misbehavin'.
If I didn't know I had major surgery 2 weeks ago, I wouldn't know. Seriously. I have zero side effects, I'm in no discomfort and I just have minor little spots where the scopes went in. I'm guessing I was still in menopause from chemo, cause I haven't had any of those symptoms either. It was easier then the mastectomy in terms of healing and pain. Well, and the fact no cancer was found.
Summer is in full swing now. Every day seems to include Princess M begging to go swimming, and me giving in. I don't wear a swimsuit, because I don't want to buy a "special" one and put prosthetic inserts in it. I just sit there with my hat and huge umbrella, dodging all the sunlight I can. I don't want the radiated area to get sunlight. The skin is still healing.
All is well.
